Thanks to everyone who participated in the BBQ!
More than 100 folks showed up and it seems liked everyone was having a great time. It was so great to meet new people and make new friends.
Many, many thanks to all who helped with organizing, set-up and clean-up. You helped make it just about effortless.
We've got quite a pile of lost and found items that were left on the pot luck table so if you're missing what you brought, please give me a call at 426.2272.
If you've got some ideas about how to make our next event even better, we'd love to hear them. How about a neighborhood potluck in early October? After the summer frenzy but while the weather is still beautiful.
Money Matters: Several people put money into the raffle basket as a donation. It was counted with the raffle money. Jim Franks and Lynn Harper asked that their contributions not be reimbursed but rather counted as donations. The remaining $19.45 will be put in an account with Parks and Rec to be used for our next event.
