Barrios Unidos/Resource Center for Non-Violence proposal
Barrios Unidos and The Resource Center for Non-Violence are working together with Ventura Partners to build a mixed-use development at the corner of Trevethan and Soquel, around and including where Wilson's Tire is currently.
This is a mixed use, 4-story structure to be built on the corner of Soquel and Trevethan. This includes meeting and program space, retail businesses and 19 residential units for use by Barrios and the RCNV.
In addition, 21 condos will be built on this property and immediately sold to help fund the development. The condos will be 2- and 3-story and will be on Trevethan
This group, the "1817 Soquel Avenue Team", has hosted a couple Open House events to share their plans with our community. The 1817 Team answered more 50 questions posed to them from concerned neighbors. You can view their answers here: Project 1817 Q & A.
